Hi guys, here are 10 facts and data that we discovered about our brain and about our learning process during our last two Brainology® classes:

1. You can grow your intelligence
2. New research shows that the brain is like a muscle: it changes and gets stronger when you use it
3. The more that you challenge your mind to learn, the more neuron connections you make in your brain
4. As a result of this, things that you once found hard, seem to become easy
5. Scientists who studied animals’ brains made some great discoveries.
6. They found out that animals living in a stimulating and challenging environment (with toys and other animals to play with, for example) have stronger and bigger neuron connections
7. In fact, their brains are 10% heavier than the brains of animals living in bare cages, without toys or other animals
8. Scientists also discovered that a six years old child has many more connections and pathways between nerve cells, than a baby who can’t speak yet
9. How do children grow all of these neuron connections and pathways?
10. The need to learn and speak their parents’ language in the first few years of life help children develop their brains, just like a muscle.
